Blue Gum Squash Club is proud to be based at Squashworld Brentwood, Perth’s largest squash centre south of the river.

Our facilities include:

Eight hard-back squash courts with glass front walls: Recently upgraded for an enhanced playing experience, the courts are meticulously maintained and ideal for players of all levels.

Pro shop: Stocked with a wide range of squash equipment and apparel to meet all your needs.

Modern amenities: Enjoy the recently renovated club area, which features a full kitchen, a large seating area, and tables and chairs.

Club events and competitions

At Blue Gum Squash Club, we offer a variety of events and competitions to suit all interests and skill levels:

  • Junior Coaching: From 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM during school terms, we provide professional coaching for juniors, suitable for beginners to advanced players. Sessions include games, drills, and matches. Your first week is free!

    Ladies League Pennants: Matches commence at 7:00 PM, offering competitive play for women of similar abilities. Seasons run during Autumn, Winter, and Spring, with venues rotating weekly among participating clubs.

  • WA Squash Pennants: An interclub competition across the Perth metro area. Teams of three compete in divisions based on combined rankings. Seasons occur in Autumn, Winter, and Spring, each lasting 10 weeks plus finals. Divisions are available for all abilities, from beginners to state grade.

  • Day League Pennants: Matches are held Wednesday mornings, providing daytime competitive play. Seasons are in Autumn and Spring, with venues rotating among participating clubs.

    Social Round Robin: Starting at 7:30 PM, enjoy friendly matches against a variety of players. Each session costs $14 for members and $16 for non-members. No membership is required to participate, making it perfect for newcomers.

  • In-House Club Night: Beginning at 7:00 PM, players are grouped into leagues of four based on ability. Matches consist of four games up to 15 points, with winners determined by total points. Occasional round robins add variety. Supper is organized by a player each week, enhancing the social atmosphere.

  • Masters Squash: For players over 35, matches start at 7:30 PM. This WA Squash and WA Masters Squash registered event runs throughout the year, with short breaks for other events. It's a great way to engage in competitive play and connect with peers.

  • Saturday Super Social: From 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, participate in a round-robin social squash session against high-quality opponents. Sessions cost $12 for members and $14 for non-members.

  • Group Training Session: Led by Mike Corren, these sessions run from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, focusing on drills, skills, restricted games, and fun to improve fitness and gameplay. Each session is $20 per person

  • Enjoy competitive yet relaxed matches during the summer months, designed to bring players together in a casual environment.

  • Test your teamwork and skills in our highly anticipated doubles competition, open to all members.

  • Showcase your skills in our premier event of the year, open to all members.

  • Engage in various activities, including awards nights, golf days, and quiz nights, fostering camaraderie off the court.
