Blue Gum Squash Club is thrilled to announce that our application to the Australian Government’s Play Our Way program has been successful. 

Blue Gum Squash Club will receive funding under the Participation and Equipment Stream which aims to support sustainable and enduring sport participation programs and/or new or upgraded equipment, specifically for women and girls.

We will be using our grant to deliver a comprehensive range of initiatives designed to boost the participation of women and girls in squash. Some of these initiatives include:

• Hosting coaching clinics tailored specifically for women and girls.

• Running Come and Try Days to introduce new players to the sport.

• Creating starter packs with subsidised equipment such as racquets, balls, and drink bottles to remove barriers to entry.

• Targeted advertising and outreach via social media and our website to raise awareness about the opportunities available through these programs and encourage more women and girls in our community to get involved in squash.
